The Minister for Culture (Mr S. Rajaratnam): Mr Speaker, Sir, I beg to move, "That the Bill be now read a Second time."

The object of the Bill is exactly the same as that of the Raffles National Library (Change of Name) Bill, 1960, which was passed just now. What has been said by me in regard to that Bill applies equally to this Bill.

Bill accordingly read a Second time and committed to a Committee of the whole Assembly.

Assembly immediately resolved itself into a Committee on the Bill. -[Mr Rajaratnam].
