ELECTRICITY AND WATER FOR KAMPONG GULEGA AND JALAN GREJA

Mr Sim Boon Woo asked the Minister for Law and National Development whether and when (a) electricity supply will be extended to Kampong Gulega; and (b) electricity and water supply will be extended to the Malay Kampong at Jalan Greja where these utilities are not available.

Mr Barker: Mr Speaker, Sir, this area will come under the Rural Electrification Scheme in 1966.

The houses in the Malay kampong at Lorong Pelasari off Jalan Greja were officially numbered two months ago. Electricity and water supply will he extended to this area in early 1966.
