JETTY AT SIMPANG SEMBAWANG (Construction of covered shed)

Mr Teong Eng Siong asked the Minister for Law and National Development when work will commence on the construction of the covered shed on the jetty at Simpang Sembawang.

Mr Ho Cheng Choon (for the Minister for Law and National Development): Mr Speaker. Sir, owing to lack of funds, the construction of the covered shed on the jetty at Simpang Sembawang has not been approved. The Urban and Rural Services Committee will again consider the proposal when funds are available.
