The Leader of the House (Mr E.W. Barker): Mr Speaker. Sir, with your permission and the general assent of Members of the House, I would like to propose that we take item 7 on the Order Paper today immediately after item 1.

Sir, Members within this House and outside this House are interested in knowing what taxes they will have to pay or what concessions the Hon. Minister for Finance is going to make. So I would suggest that we do as I have proposed!

Mr Speaker: I give my consent. Do I have the general assent of hon. Members?

Hon. Members indicated assent

Resolved,

"That, notwithstanding the Standing Orders, item 7 on the Order Paper be taken immediately after item 1 today." - [Mr E.W. Barker].
