DEATH OF MR HON SUI SEN (Announcement by Mr Deputy Speaker)

Mr Deputy Speaker: Order. I would like to take the opportunity, which is the first that has presented itself, of referring to the death of Mr Hon Sui Sen, the former Minister for Finance and Member for Havelock, which occurred on the 14th of October, 1983.

It was with profound shock and deep sorrow that I, and I am sure, Honourable Members heard the news of Mr Hon's death.

I desire, on behalf of the House, to record with regret an expression of our sense of the loss we have sustained and our deep sympathy for the family of the late Member.
