TREE PLANTING DAY 1985 (No Activity in Potong Pasir)

Mr Chiam See Tong asked the Minister for National Development why the residents at Potong Pasir were not allowed to participate in the 1985 National Tree Planting Day.

Mr Teh Cheang Wan: There was no Tree Planting Day activity in Potong Pasir Constituency because sufficient number of trees have already been planted in accordance with Parks & Recreation Department's guidelines. Similarly, there were no Tree Planting Day activities in four other constituencies.
