Mr Low Thia Khiang asked the Minister for Trade and Industry whether the spending of Singaporeans on gambling (for example, buying of 4-D) was captured under Private Consumption Expenditure.

Mr Yeo Cheow Tong: Spending of Singaporeans on gambling is recorded under private consumption expenditure as expenditure on recreational activities.
