FINAL SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES OF EXPENDITURE FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 1st APRIL, 1998 TO 31st MARCH, 1999 (Paper Cmd. 4 of 1999)

The Chairman: Final Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 1st April, 1998 to 31st March, 1999 contained in Paper Cmd. 4 of 1999.

No notice of amendment has been received.

Question, "That the sum stated for the Head of Expenditure as shown in Paper Cmd. 4 of 1999 stand part of the Final Supplementary Main Estimates", put and agreed to.

Question, "That the sum of $1,760,000 shall be supplied to the Government under the Head of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Final Supplementary Main Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 1998/1999", put and agreed to.

Resolution to be reported.

Thereupon Mr Speaker left the Chair of the Committee and took the Chair of the House.

Mr Lim Hng Kiang: Mr Speaker, Sir, I beg to report that the Committee of Supply have come to certain resolution.

Resolution reported.

"That the sum of $1,760,000 shall be supplied to the Government under the Head of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Final Supplementary Main Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 1st April, 1998 to 31st March, 1999, contained in Paper Cmd. 4 of 1999."
