Mr Lee Kuan Yew asked the Chief Minister whether he will, if necessary, postpone his journey to London in order to meet Mr Chin Peng.
The Chief Minister: Mr Speaker, Sir, the occasion has not arisen for consideration of the eventuality envisaged by the question.
Mr Lee Kuan Yew: Mr Speaker, Sir, does the Chief Minister consider it more important to meet Mr Chin Peng, or to meet the Rt. Hon. Mr Lennox-Boyd?
Mr Speaker: Order, Mr Lee Kuan Yew. That question, I think, seeks an expression of opinion and is not permitted by Standing Orders.
