Mr Wong Foo Nam asked the Chief Secretary whether he is aware of the feeling of dissatisfaction among members of the Special Constabulary with their terms and conditions of service; and whether the Government is taking or will take steps to improve them.

Mr W. A. C. Goode: Yes, Sir. I am aware that some members of the Special Constabulary are not entirely satisfied with their terms of service. Those terms of service are being reviewed and I am hopeful that it will be possible to make an announcement on the matter pretty soon.
