PERMISSION TO MEMBERS TO BE ABSENT

The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker, permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:

Mr Lee Kuan Yew (Tanjong Pagar) - from 4th January, 1959, to 15th January, 1959;

Mr Tan Theng Chiang (Rochore) - from 22nd December, 1958, to 11th January, 1959;

Mr John Ede (Tanglin) - from 15th January, 1959, to 25th February, 1959.
