MESSAGE FROM THE YANG DI-PERTUAN NEGARA (Reply to Address)

Mr Speaker: I have to inform Honourable Members that on the 22nd day of December, 1961, I duly sent a letter to His Excellency the Yang di-Pertuan Negara, containing the Address agreed to by resolution of this Assembly on the 21st day of December, 1961.

I received a reply from His Excellency dated the 23rd December, 1961, reading as follows:- `Dear Mr Speaker, I acknowledge receipt of the kind message of the Legislative Assembly which you transmitted to me in your letter of the 22nd December. Yours sincerely, (signed) YUSOF BIN ISHAK YANG DI-PERTUAN NEGARA.'
