The Deputy Prime Minister (Dr Toh Chin Chye): Mr Speaker, I move,
That under Standing Order No. 33 (2) (b), I name Thursday as the day on which the proceedings on item 10 shall be entered upon.
Mr Speaker: The relevant Standing Order is Standing Order No. 33, paragraph (2) (b):
`(2) A Member may, in respect of a motion of which he has given notice, either - [the second alternative].
(b) upon the notice being read, name a later sitting day and the motion shall be placed on the Order Paper for that day.'
This motion will therefore be placed on the Order Paper for Thursday.
