The Minister for Finance (Dr Goh Keng Swee): Mr Speaker, Sir, I beg to introduce a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to constitute the Singapore Society of Accountants and to, provide for the registration and control of accountants."
Bill read the First time.
Mr Speaker: Second Reading, what day?
Dr Goh Keng Swee: The first available sitting day to be named after the Select Committee on the Singapore National Referendum Bill has completed its Report.
Mr Speaker: The Minister is aware that when the Assembly is adjourned after the completion of business, the adjournment must be either to a certain date or by resolution of the House to a date to be fixed by the Leader of the House. Therefore, it would be necessary for a motion to be moved that this Assembly do stand adjourned to a date to be fixed by the Leader of the House, and that motion then, of course, is debatable.
