Mr Speaker: As we are to sit after 8 p.m., the Deputy Speaker omitted to include in the motion exempting proceedings from the provisions of Standing Order No. 1, Questions on which we have already entered. So to put the matter right, I ask the Minister for Education to move an amending motion.

The Minister for Education (Mr Yong Nyuk Lin): Mr Speaker, Sir, I beg to move, That notwithstanding the resolution of this Assembly, the proceedings on Questions and on item 20 of the Order Paper be exempted from the provisions of Standing Order No. 1.

Question put, and agreed to.

Resolved,

That notwithstanding the resolution of this Assembly, the proceedings on Questions and on item 20 of the Order Paper be exempted from the provisions of Standing Order No. 1.
