RESIGNATION OF MEMBERS FOR CHOA CHU KANG, CRAWFORD, AND PAYA LEBAR

Mr Speaker: I have to inform hon. Members that in the events which have happened, I am satisfied that the seats of the three Members of Parliament, namely, the Member for Choa Chu Kang, the Member for Crawford, and the Member for Paya Lebar, have become vacant under clause 30 (2) (b) of the Constitution of Singapore.

No doubt appropriate action will be taken to fill the said three seats by election according to law.
