Mr Chow Chiok Hock asked the Minister for Law and National Development whether and when improvements will be made to the drainage system at North Buona Vista Road near the 5th milestone Holland Road.

Mr Ho Cheng Choon (for the Minister for Law and National Development): Yes. The Public Works Department has a scheme for a proper concrete roadside drain to replace the existing earth drain at North Buona Vista Road near the 5th milestone Holland Road. However, this scheme cannot be implemented until the squatter within the line of the proposed drain is removed.
