LOWER DELTA ROAD (Construction of bus shelter)

Mr M.K.A. Jabbar asked the Minister for National Development if he is aware that so far no bus shelter has been erected at Lower Delta Road, although the Public Works Department had agreed to do so, and when the shelter will be erected.

Mr Teh Cheang Wan: Mr Speaker, Sir, all bus stops along Lower Delta Road have been provided with bus shelters except for a new one near Bukit Purmei Estate. The bus shelter for this bus stop will be erected by PWD in May this year as promised.
