Encik Saidi Haji Shariff asked the Minister for National Development if he will consider the construction of an overhead bridge across the Pan-island Expressway, facing the flats in Neighbourhood 6 of Bedok North HDB Estate, for the convenience of residents who have to go daily to the schools and factories on the other side of the expressway.

Mr Teh Cheang Wan: Mr Speaker, Sir, the PWD will construct three more pedestrian overhead bridges across the Pan-Island Expressway in addition to the existing 11 bridges. One of these new bridges will be in the vicinity of Neighbourhood 6 of Bedok North HDB Estate.
