MRT LINE TO BUKIT BATOK/BUKIT GOMBAK/CHUA CHU KANG (Operational date)

Dr Ong Chit Chung asked the Minister for Communications and Information when the Mass Rapid Transit line to Bukit Batok, Bukit Gombak and Chua Chu Kang stations will become operational.

The Minister for Communications and Information (Dr Yeo Ning Hong): Mr Speaker, Sir, construction of the Mass Rapid Transit line to Bukit Batok, Bukit Gombak and Chua Chu Kang is progressing smoothly. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the line should be operational by the middle of next year.
