SECONDARY SCHOOL IN BUKIT GOMBAK CONSTITUENCY

Mr Ang Mong Seng asked the Minister for Education whether his Ministry has any plan to build a secondary school in the Bukit Gombak Constituency and if so, when and at which location.

RAdm Teo Chee Hean: The Ministry of Education's review of the requirements for secondary schools in the Bukit Batok DGP has shown the need to build one new secondary school in the DGP. I am happy to inform the Member that MOE, together with URA, has identified a suitable site next to the existing Lianhua Primary School at Bukit Batok Street 52, which is within the Bukit Gombak Constituency. The school will be built by the end of 2001.
