MESSAGE FROM THE GOVERNOR (Governor's Assent to Bills passed)

Mr Speaker: I have received a message from His Excellency the Governor dated 10th October, 1956, informing me that His Excellency has, in accordance with the provisions of Section 62 (2) of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, assented to the following Bills:

(i) Minor Offences (Amendment) Bill;

(ii) Criminal Justice (Temporary Provisions) (Amendment) Bill;

(iii) Singapore Telephone Board (Amendment) Bill;

(iv) Silver Jubilee Fund (Singapore) (Amendment No. 2) Bill;

v) Singapore Legislative Assembly Elections (Amendment) Bill;

(vi) Public Trustee (Amendment) Bill;

(vii) Dangerous Drugs (Temporary Provisions) Bill;

(viii) Dangerous Drugs (Amendment) Bill.
