The following Question stood in the name of Mr David Marshall -

Mr David Marshall: To ask the Chief Minister when does the Government intend to give effect to the recommendations contained in the Second and Final Report of the Standing Orders Committee presented to the Assembly on 28th May, 1956, and contained in Sessional Paper No. L.A. 5 of 1956.

Mr Marshall: If it please you, Mr Speaker, Sir, I would like to withdraw Question No. 2 in view of the fact that item No. 10 on the Order Paper already indicates that the Government is giving effect to this Report.

Mr Speaker: Question 2 is withdrawn.
