Mr John Ede asked the Financial Secretary whether the Malayan Board of Income Tax has recommended any changes to be made in the Income Tax Ordinance (Cap. 166); and when an amending Bill will be presented to this House.

Mr T. M. Hart: The Malayan Board of Income Tax has made certain recommendations for the amendment of the Income Tax Ordinance. These recommendations have been incorporated in a draft Bill which it is hoped to introduce at the September sitting of the Assembly.
