Dato Abdul Hamid Bin Haji Jumat asked the Minister for Finance whether the Government accepts the Federation of Malaya School Leaving Certificate as equivalent to the Cambridge Overseas School Certificate for the purposes of employment in Government Service.
Dr Goh Keng Swee: Mr Speaker, I think the hon. Member was referring to the Federation of Malaya Certificate of Education. The answer is that this certificate is accepted as equivalent to the Cambridge Overseas School Certificate.
