Encik Mansor Haji Sukaimi asked the Minister for Finance whether he will consider granting daily-rated employees annual increments instead of once in every three years.

The Acting Minister for Finance (Mr Lim Kim San): Mr Speaker, Sir, the Ministry of Finance will be prepared to consider converting the existing triennial increment system into an annual increment system for daily-rated employees with a view to facilitating wage administration. However, a revision of this nature will require careful study before any decision can be made.
