Mr Yeo Toon Chia asked the Minister for National Development and Communications whether there are plans to construct a hawker centre for the residents of Neighbourhood I in Ang Mo Kio New Town.

Dr Tan Eng Liang (for the Minister for National Development and Communications): Mr Speaker, Sir, a hawker centre will be constructed for Ang Mo Kio Neighbourhood 1. It is expected to be completed in 1979.
