Mr Teo Chong Tee asked the Minister for National Development whether he will positively review downwards the high season parking fee charged at $65 by the Urban Redevelopment Authority for cars parked at Car Park B at Changi Airport so as to enable more shift workers at the Airport to make full use of it.

The Minister for National Development (Mr Teh Cheang Wan): Mr Speaker, Sir, the URA acts as the agent for the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore in operating the car parks at Changi Airport. The car park fees are set in consultation with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. Both authorities have agreed to reduce the season parking fee at Car Park B to $50 per month.
