Mr Cheo Chai Chen asked the Minister for Communications how much has been collected from Certificates of Entitlement since its inception and to what purpose has this collection been put.

Mr Mah Bow Tan: Total revenue collection from vehicle quota premium for the period May 1990 to March 1992 is $693.5 million. Like other Government revenues, it is credited to the Consolidated Fund from which Government expenditures are financed.
