Encik Harun bin A. Ghani asked the Prime Minister whether the Public Service Division will revise the reimbursement of dental claims by civil servants.

The Deputy Prime Minister (BG Lee Hsien Loong) (for the Prime Minister): Mr Speaker, Sir, civil servants may claim reimbursement for dental treatment at a Government or private dental clinic on a 50% subsidy basis, up to a maximum cap of $70 per year. Data on actual claims submitted show that the $70 claim limit is more than sufficient for the present because the average claim size is only about half this amount.
