The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:

Mr Tan Theng Chiang - from 23rd September to 27th October, 1956;

Mr William Tan - from 23rd September to 31st October, 1956.
