Order for Second Reading read.
The Attorney-General (Mr C. H. Butterfield): Sir, I beg to move that this Order be discharged and the Architects (Amendment) Bill be withdrawn.
Sir, I move this motion because, since the Bill was read the First time, several representations have been made to the Minister regarding both the Bill itself and certain provisions of the Architects Ordinance which are untouched by the Bill. It has not yet been possible to give these representations the consideration which they merit and, in the circumstances, the most convenient course to take is to withdraw the Bill. Sir, I beg to move.
The Minister for Health (Mr A. J. Braga): I second it.
Question,
That the Order for Second Reading of this Bill be discharged and the Bill withdrawn, put, and agreed to.
Resolved.
That the Order for Second Reading of this Bill be discharged and the Bill withdrawn.
