ANXIETY ABOUT ALLEGED CORRUPTION IN HOSPITALS

Mr John Ede asked the Minister for Health whether he is aware of the anxiety being caused by allegations of corruption in Singapore hospitals, and whether he will make a statement on this matter.

Mr A. J. Braga: Mr Speaker, Sir, I am aware of the matter to which the hon. Member for Tanglin has referred but I can assure the hon. Member that all allegations are being fully investigated and are in the hands of the Public Prosecutor, where it must lie.
