Mr Lee Choon Eng asked the Minister for Local Government, Lands and Housing if he will consider making a grant to the Singapore Improvement Trust for the purpose of covering the unguarded space between the top rail and the balcony of the 14-storey flats at Queenstown with wire mesh as a preventive measure against persons falling over the balcony.
