Mr Goh Tong Liang asked the Minister for Health whether he will consider introducing amending legislation to make inoculation of children against diphtheria compulsory.

The Minister for Education (Mr Chew Swee Kee) (for the Minister for Health): Mr Speaker, Sir, the matter has been referred to the Medical Advisory Council for consideration and advice.
