Mr Seah Peng Chuan asked the Minister for Health to state the reasons for the payment of an allowance to certain medical and dental officers who are holding Administrative posts in the Medical Service; and whether such officers have hitherto been allowed to draw fees or retain consultation fees under the Fees (Public Officers) Regulations, 1951.
