MESSAGE FROM THE YANG DI-PERTUAN NEGARA (Assents to Bills passed)

Mr Speaker: I have received a message from His Excellency the Yang di-Pertuan Negara dated 12th April, 1960, informing me that, in accordance with the provisions of section 55 (1) of the Singapore (Constitution) Order in Council, 1958, His Excellency had that day assented to the following Bills:-

(i) The Port Dues Bill;

(ii) The Singapore Legislative Assembly Elections (Amendment) Bill;

(iii) The Court of Criminal Appeal (Amendment) Bill;

(iv) The Lembaga Gerakan Pelajaran Dewasa Bill.
