Mr David Marshall asked the Minister for Home Affairs how many persons were detained under the Preservation of Public Security Ordinance since 1st February, 1963, and how many of such persons were transferred to the custody of the Government of the Federation of Malaya.

Mr Ong Pang Boon: Mr Speaker, Sir, a total of 133 persons were arrested under Operation "Coldstore", of whom 17 are now being detained in the Federation of Malaya and 107 in Singapore. The other nine have been released.
