The Minister for National Development (Mr Lim Kim San): Mr Speaker, Sir, I have His Excellency the Yang di-Pertuan Negara's recommendation to introduce a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to provide for the licensing and control of housing developers in the State."

I beg to introduce accordingly.

Mr Speaker: Second Reading, what day?

Mr Lim Kim San: On the 19th November, 1964. I lay upon the Table a Certificate of Urgency signed by the Yang di-Pertuan Negara in respect of this Bill to enable the Second Reading to be taken on that day. Typed copies of this Bill have already been handed to the Clerk for the use of Members.
