Mr S. Rajoo asked the Minister for Law and National Development whether the backlane behind houses Nos. 50 to 78 at Race Course Road will be made up, and when.

Mr Ho Cheng Choon (for the Minister for Law and National Development): Mr Speaker, Sir, the Public Works Department has prepared a list of backlanes, which include the one behind Race Course Road, for vesting under section 44 of the Local Government Integration Ordinance. It is expected that this backlane, together with others, will be made up sometime next year.
