Mr Teo Hup Teck asked the Minister for Law and National Development if he will consider the improvement of Yio Chu Kang Road between 8� m.s. and 11 m.s., including widening of the road and provision of side-walks.

Mr Ho Cheng Choon (for the Minister for Law and National Development): Mr Speaker, Sir, the widening of Yio Chu Kang Road between 8� m.s. and Sembawang Hill Circus 12� m.s. by 30 feet is expected to commence some time this month. In order to provide sidewalks, some land has to be acquired and consideration is now being given to such acquisition.
