Mr Ng Yeow Chong asked the Minister for Law and National Development if he has any plans to repair the damaged roadside pedestrian pavement in the Old Kallang Airport Estate and, if so, when.

Mr Ho Cheng Choon (for the Minister for Law and National Development): Sir, action has already been initiated by the Public Works Department to repair the badly damaged pedestrian pavement in the Old Kallang Airport Estate, and work is in progress.

The Public Works Department also has plans this year to reconstruct the footpaths along the whole stretch of Dakota Crescent. Similar work for the remaining roads in this estate will be carried out in stages, depending on the availability of funds.
