Mr Ang Nam Piau asked the Minister for Law and National Development if he will consider the construction of a pedestrian overhead bridge at Braddell Road, near its junction with Upper Serangoon Road, for the safety of the pupils of Ming Sin Chinese School.
Mr E. W. Barker: Sir, in accordance with current practice, a survey will be carried out by the Public Works Department, in conjunction with the Traffic Police, to ascertain whether an overhead bridge should be built over Braddell Road near Upper Serangoon Road. The construction, if recommended, is of course subject to priorities and to funds available.
