Dr Augustine H. H. Tan asked the Minister for National Development and Communications whether, in view of the frequent traffic congestion along Jalan Kebun Limau and Jalan Bahagia, he will consider converting the one-way stretch of Whampoa Drive leading to Jalan Bahagia into a two-way road.

Dr Tan Eng Liang (for the Minister for National Development and Communications): Sir, the Public Works Department will be converting the one-way stretch of Whampoa Drive leading to Jalan Bahagia into a two-way road. The project will be undertaken in June, 1977.
