Dr Lau Teik Soon asked the Minister for National Development whether he will consider installing a traffic light system at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 and Avenue 8.

Mr Teh Cheang Wan: Mr Speaker, Sir, traffic lights are being installed at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 and Avenue 8. Installation work will be completed by September 1979.
