Mr Lim Choon Mong asked the Chief Secretary whether he will state -

(i) the number of applicants for the posts of (a) Chest Specialist and (b) Radiologist as advertised in the year 1955:

(ii) the number of applications forwarded to the Public Services Commission; and

(iii) the number of applicants interviewed by the Public Services Commission.

Mr W. A. C. Goode: (i) The post of Chest Physician was not advertised in 1955 because there was no vacancy in that post. The post of Radiologist was advertised in August 1955, and there was one applicant:

(ii) One;

(iii) None.
