PERMISSION TO MEMBERS TO BE ABSENT

The following Members have, under the provisions of subsection (3) (i) of section 47 of the Singapore Colony Order in Council, 1955, obtained from the Speaker permission to be or to remain absent from meetings of the Assembly:

Inche Abdul Hamid Bin Haji Jumat - three weeks from 7th March, 1957;

Mr Chew Swee Kee - three weeks from 7th March, 1957;

Mr Lim Choon Mong - from 7th March to 13th April, 1957;

Mr William Tan - from 9th April to 26th April, 1957.
