Mr Lim Choon Mong asked the Chief Minister if he will state whether an appointment of Assistant Minister for Commerce and Industry will be made in the immediate future.

The Chief Minister: The answer is No, Sir. I have no such appointment in mind at present.

Mr Lim Choon Mong: Mr Speaker, Sir, it is a surprise! Perhaps the Chief Minister would like to inform us of the duration of time when his "No" will apply.

Mr Speaker: That is not a question.
