HOUSING UNITS BUILT BY THE SINGAPORE IMPROVEMENT TRUST, 1955/56

Mr Lim Koon Teck asked the Minister for Local Government, Lands and Housing whether he will give details of how many housing units in each category were completed by the Singapore Improvement Trust in each month of the year 1955; how many in each category were completed or were expected to be completed in each of the first three months of 1956; and how many in each category were expected to be completed in the period April-December 1956.
Inche Abdul Hamid Bin Haji Jumat: The Honourable Member's question is not clear, as it is not known what is meant by "in each category". If the Honourable Member will clarify this point I shall let him have the information in due course.
