Mr Lim Koon Teck asked the Minister for Labour and Welfare whether he will state (i) the number of families (a) applying for Public Assistance and (b) being granted Public Assistance in each month from May 1955 to February 1956; and (ii) the total amount paid out in Public Assistance in each month from May 1955 to February 1956.
